Thank you for using Thinkware App and Thinkware Connected Service, which lets you notify people you care about and who care about you, for example, when the car you drive is involved in an accident (“Accident Notice”). For the purpose of giving such notices, we collect your (a) location information (“Location Information”); (b) information of your car in parking mode (“Parking Information”); and (c) shock and other information on the your car (“Event Information”). We will not use such information for any other purpose. By clicking “OK” at the bottom of this page, you consent to the transmission and collection of the Location Information, Event Information and Parking Information. Below is the summary of what we believe you should know about the transmission and collection of such Information.
1. You may opt out of the collection of your Location Information, Event Information and Parking Information temporarily or permanently in Thinkware App by clicking Settings, then using the “Network Enable/Disable” function. Please note that not opening Thinkware App or deleting Thinkware App from your cell phone may not be sufficient to prevent the collection of your Location Information, Event Information and Parking Information temporarily or permanently, because the transmission may occur through the connecting device’s network functionality without Thinkware App.
2. You may opt out of the collection of your Location Information, Event Information and Parking Information permanently by terminating your account at Thinkware Connected Service with Thinkware App.
3. We collect the minimum information necessary to provide the Location Information, Event Information and Parking Information.
4. We store the Location Information, Event Information and Parking Information in Thinkware Connected Server for ninety (90) days. However, Event Video, SOS video and captured images that occur in front of the Vehicle at the time of parking will be stored for thirty (30) days in Thinkware Connected Server.
5. You may delete the Location Information, Event Information and Parking Information stored in Thinkware Connected Server using Thinkware App.
6. The information is transmitted to Thinkware Connected Server through a connecting device, such as your cell phone. After initial connection which must be done through Thinkware App, the connection is automatically made, whether Thinkware App is open or not. It means your Location Information, Event Information and Parking Information may be transmitted even if you do not open Thinkware App or are unaware if such connection is made.
7. We will share your Location Information, Event Information and Parking Information only with the user of Thinkware Connected Service who has registered the dashcam/blackbox device, because we assume that by installing a dashcam/blackbox device that is registered by another person, you have authorized such person to receive such information. If that is not the case, please turn off the dashcam/blackbox device and delete Thinkware App from your cell phone.
8. We will share your Location Information, Event Information and Parking Information if required by law or a law enforcement agency.
9. We may store the Location Information, Event Information, Parking Information, other information and data that are potentially privacy information in the country in which you reside. We may optionally choose to store such information in the country other than where you reside, if permitted by laws, treaties or self-regulatory frameworks.
